Lion's Lair Presents: Trash Cat / Kaitlyn Williams / BabyBaby

Trash Cat:

"Trash Cat uses their music to ride a see-saw between tender-heartedness and absurdity inspired by their favorite cartoons and pop culture."

Kaitlyn Williams:

"If I'm seventeen today... soon I'll be eighteen, but that doesnt matter. Music is bread, created, and inspired through ANYONE and ANYTHING.

I sing because I'm happy. I sing because I'm sad. I sing because the sun is shining. I sing because I can."

Big Dopes [Single Release!] / Andrea & Mud / Hello, Mountain

Big Dopes
Big Dopes hearkens back to the loose, lighthearted feel of 90s alternative and indie, like Pavement and Built to Spill, with evocative lyrics inspired by 70s songwriters like Paul Simon and Lou Reed. Lead songwriter Eddie Schmid (also of Denver dream-pop band Oxeye Daisy) uses a warm, conversational vocal style to sing through everyday neuroses about long-distance relationships, being a good houseguest, and wasting money on shitty headphones. Veteran drummer Ricky Brewer (Card Catalog) lends a steady groove and harmonies, and Justin Catanzaro’s bass often takes the lead, playing energetic, melodic lines.

Andrea & Mud
Surf Western from the South. Sounds like Doc Watson and the Cramps had a love child while watching a Tarantino movie.

Hello, Mountain
Hello, Mountain is a Denver, Colorado-based indie rock trio originally formed in 2014. The lineup consists of Stephen Pamas, Jack Falk , and Patrick Smith.
