The So Lows are a band born from a love of rock n roll and a desire to create a uniquely new yet authentic sound, always paying homage to influence. While living in Los Angeles, songwriting duo Molly Miller and Ronnie Rael began crafting their sound which includes vocal harmonies inspired by Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris, energy influenced by Ike and Tina Turner, and attitude reminiscent of Johnny Thunders and Patti Paladin. The So Lows enlisted the talent of Jim Reid on drums and Case Tanner on bass to record their debut album, Alto, set to be released in 2017. Recorded and produced independently with the help of engineer David Cragin (Danny Elfman, Oingo Boingo, Beck) at his studio, Santa Fe Soundworks (Santa Fe, NM), Alto traverses a slew of raw emotions with an unapologetic approach.
