Addie Tonic - Addie Tonic
Addie Tonic is an alterna-rock band formed in Denver, CO featuring front woman Meghann5k (Vocals, Guitar), Matt Youngblood (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Dylan Tilton (Bass), and currently looking for a forever drummer. Could it be you? Addie Tonic’s catchy songs are driven by Meghann5k’s pop-fueled lyrics and Matt’s rock-inspired guitar licks, building garage rock/shoegaze like walls of sound with a punk rock edge. The band released their debut EP, “Crashin’ Cars & Fannin’ Flames” in 2021 followed up by their second EP, “Don’t Ya Know Me” in 2022.

In December 2021, Addie Tonic released a cover of the Veruca Salt song “Seether” which sparked some local attention and got “Seether” on local radio station Indie 102.3’s segment “Cover with Your Coffee.” In February 2022, Addie Tonic was listed in 303 Magazine’s “Colorado Music You Should Know” featuring the song “Iodine” and in May 2022, Addie Tonic was selected to be one of Indie 102.3’s featured local 303 artists. This opportunity gave them radio play twice a day for the month of May featuring both “Seether” and “Iodine” and landed them at number 12 on the Colorado Sound’s top 30 playlist for radio play in May 2022.

In addition to the state of Colorado, Addie Tonic has toured semi-nationally including Montana, Minnesota, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas and they plan to do more touring in the future. They have shared bills with up and coming local acts CITRA and Wildermiss, as well as national acts such as The Unlikely Candidates, Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and JoJo Hermann’s (Widespread Panic) side project, Slim Wednesday. Currently, when they are not playing shows in and around the Denver metro area, they are crafting a new batch of songs with Todd Divel of Silo Sound Recording Studios (a.k.a The Abbey Road of Denver), working to land a sync licensing deal, and maintain their streak of radio play all whilst growing a fanbase.
